With 20 years behind me as a journalist and Head of Consumer/Corporate Relations, I have experience in all areas of communication.
Before launching my own consultancy, I spent two years as Head of Consumer & Corporate Relations at Mothercare. I transformed the brand’s written and visual output, gaining coverage in national newspapers and glossy women’s monthlies. I also helped establish the Mothercare Charitable Foundation, launched an employee magazine and overhauled the intranet content.
Prior to this I was Head of Corporate Relations at Arcadia Group for seven years. I managed communications around the Group’s financial results, writing Stock Exchange statements and the Annual Report & Accounts. Other projects completed included the launch of the Zoom portal and website and the creation of an intranet-based employee news service.
My career as a journalist spanned more than 12 years and included six years as news editor at fashion industry bible Drapers Record.
